Urgent property maintenance
Call a Metro Homeworks contact directly.
Maintenance hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday. After hours, call for appliance malfunctions, plumbing failures, active flooding, or another property condition that threatens safety or serious damage. Start with Matthew; if you cannot reach him, try Ethan, then John.

Situations that need immediate action
This list is guidance, not a complete definition. If you believe there is an immediate threat, move to safety and call 911.
Fire, smoke, gas odor, or immediate danger
Leave the area. Do not use switches or create a spark if gas may be present. Call 911 from a safe location, then call Metro Homeworks.
Active flooding or major leak
If it is safe, move away from electricity and shut off the source. Call the maintenance contacts right away.
Exposed wiring or electrical arcing
Keep clear and avoid water or metal near the area. Call 911 for active fire, smoke, or immediate danger.
Unsafe appliance malfunction
Turn the appliance off if it is safe. For smoke, fire, sparking, or another immediate danger, call 911 first; then call the maintenance contacts.
